The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College Dental Hygiene program is distinguished by its student‑centered, hands‑on approach to training. With intentionally small class sizes, students benefit from close mentoring relationships with faculty, allowing for individualized attention throughout their education. The program integrates clinical experience from early on by having dental hygiene students work collaboratively with dental students in patient care clinics, simulating a professional, comprehensive practice environment.
