The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Program offers students the opportunity to earn an Associate of Science or a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene in a unique academic environment. Multidisciplinary educational experiences and a robust curriculum prepares students for careers in private practice, education, business, sales, public health, research and the public sector. Students gain valuable clinical expeience in the dental hygiene clinic and through rotations within the school and at various health care facilities in the area. Opportunities to give back through community outreach are provided and encouraged.
