Dental biomaterials is a rapidly evolving field that requires continuous research and innovation. This program offers comprehensive coursework, research training, and mentorship to foster a deep understanding of dental biomaterials, including their synthesis, characterization, clinical applications, and biocompatibility. Dental biomaterials encompass multiple disciplines, including materials science, chemistry, biology, engineering, and dentistry. The program facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration among experts from these diverse fields.

The translation of research findings into clinical applications is crucial for the advancement of dental biomaterials. This program bridges the gap between research and clinical practice by enabling students to conduct applied research, develop prototypes, and explore the commercialization potential of their findings. This emphasis on translating research into practice leads to the development of innovative dental materials and technologies that directly benefit patients.

Graduates of the program will become highly skilled specialists capable of leading research projects, industry collaborations, and academic endeavors and shape the future of dental biomaterials.
The students will be required to successfully complete the coursework, complete a scientific research project, write and defend a thesis/dissertation.
