The General Practice Residency Program at Alameda Health System is housed at Highland Hospital in Oakland which is the only Level 1 trauma center for the East Bay. The program is fully accredited by the Commisson on Dental Accreditation.
There will be 4 residents in each class.
In this 1 year program, our residents will recieve instruction from expert faculty in General dentistry, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Orofacial Pain, Pediatrics and Oral Surgery. They will also gain valuable clinical experience in a variety of areas including comprehnsive dental care, molar endodontics, periodontal procedures, implant placement and restorations, management of medically compromised and special needs patients, complex prosthodontic cases, surgical and third molar extractions, dental emergency and trauma mangement.
Upon the succesful completion of the residency program, each resident will recieve a Certificate of Completion of General Practice Residency.
