Albert Einstein Medical Center's orthodontic residency program, located in Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital, is committed to its mission of providing unparalleled orthodontic education in a compassionate, professional and friendly environment. Letters of Evaluation Instructions

If you are currently attending or have completed a GPR, AEGD, fellowship, associateship or other post-doctoral training program, please include a letter of evaluation from the director of your program.  This may be an additional letter on your behalf.

Other Requirement Instructions

As of 7/1/2025, all matriculating residents to Pennsylvania-based dental programs within the Jefferson system, must be eligible to receive an unrestricted Pennsylvania dental license.  Possession of this unrestriced Pennsylvania dental license is required before matriculating into the program.

Additional Information

A passing grade on the NBDE Part I is required for application and Part II for matriculation into the program. If taken, INBDE must be passed for matriculation.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION SUBMISSION IS SEPTEMBER 1, 2025

All applicants must sumbit the following to Einstein directly before your application will be reviewed by the committee:

  • 2"x2" color photo
  • $95 application fee

All matriculating residents must be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania dental license.  This is a requirment for all dental residents in Jefferson programs.  This unrestricted Pennsylvania dental license must be in the possession of the matriculating resident by the start of the program.
