The Non-Categorical Internship Program exposes students to daily life of an OMS resident. The intent of this program is also to strengthen the trainee’s subsequent application for a formal OMS residency training program by providing a diverse clinical experience and adequate opportunity for relevant research.

The Minor Oral Surgery Internship Program provides a broad-based exposure to the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery as it is practiced in the United States. The intent of this program is to provide additional formal education for interested dentists who aspire to successfully perform and complete minor oral surgery procedures beyond what was taught to them in a dental school predoctoral program.
