Jacobi Medical Center in collaboration with the Albert Einstein School of Medicine offers a 3 year (36 month) advanced education program in Dental Anesthesiology (DA). This integrated clinical and didactic program is designed to meet the certification requirements of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Thus our graduates are eligible for certification by The American Dental Board of Anesthesiology (ADBA).

Required Standardized Tests

  • Passing the INBDE before matriculation into the advanced dental education program

Transcript Evaluation and Instructions

Please send all transcripts via PASS. Official transcripts will be requested of the candidate only if they successfully match to our program. 

Letters of Evaluation Instructions

All letters must be submitted on PASS. 

Other Requirement Instructions

The CBSE is required. Official score reports should be sent via ASDA and/or uploaded through PASS. (If there are any issues, please contact Dr Saraghi msaraghi@gmail.com.) 

 

A fourth year dental student in good standing may apply to the program even if they have not taken the INDBE prior to the application deadline. The applicant, if matched, will be expected to pass the INDBE prior to starting residency.

Additional Information

Applicants must submit the following in support of their applications:

  • digital photograph in JPEG or TIFF format - upload to the PASS appilcation (Also acceptable: Add the photo to the corner of your CV)
  • A current enrollment letter in good standing or certification of any previous training if applicable, e.g.: GPR, etc. The letter MUST come directly from the program to our institution. This letter can be sent electronically from the program to saraghim1@nychhc.org
  • Please send OFFICIAL transcripts, NBDE scores to PASS.
  • Please send CBSE scores via ASDA

 

Applicants who have successfully matched and accepted a spot in the program will need to submit official documents to the program after the match.
