Jersey Shore University Medical Center is a major teaching hospital.   The patients seen in our clinic offer a wide range of clinical experiences.  Residents are able to provide our patients with comprehensive care.  Residents are able to schedule patients with specialists in all areas of dentistry and have a unique opportunity to focus on areas of weakness and or interest.  Residents also have the opportunity to admit and take patients to the operating room where dental treatment is rendered under general anesthesia or parental conscious sedation.    Lectures are given by our attendings in all areas of dentistry.  Resident rotations include Anesthesia, Cardiology, Medicine, Infectious Disease and  Emergency Medicine. Particulars of these rotations can be  found in our resident's manual and on our web site.   Our On-Call Schedule consists of every fifth week.   Additional information about our program may also be found on our website.
