Interview Schedule

The NYMC GPR Program invites selected candidates to attend a program overview session, held via Zoom, that includes the opportunity to speak to residents and faculty from each training site. After the overview, candidates are scheduled for a one-on-one interview, also via Zoom, with a faculty member. The Program expects to offer several of these overview sessions in late summer and into the fall.

Additional Information

The Program considers only those candidates with degrees from US or Canadian CODA-accredited dental schools. The Program cannot consider foreign educated candidates unless they also have advanced standing from a CODA-accredited dental school. In addition, the Program requires that candidates who received their undergraduate education at a non-US institution verify that their preprofessional education meets or exceeds the New York State education requirements for dental licensure, which are listed on the New York State Education Department website under license requirements for dentists. Candidates with foreign undergraduate education must contact NYS Education Department to have their education verified.
