A 12 month hospital based General Practice Residency (GPR) with 4 residents accepted annually.

Our program is structured to increase diagnostics, advance knowledge and clinical ability in handling patients with complex medical conditions and complicated dental treatment needs.

Approximately 80 percent of the resident's time will be devoted to delivery of oral health care. Residents receive a stipend during their training program.

The program emphasizes on the treatment of a wide range of oral health disorders, medical considerations related to dental care, the ability to treat medically compromised and handicapped patients and teaches how to provide dental care in a hospital environment interacting with health care providers of various disciplines. The program also provides an opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a private practice and public health setting, allowing the residents to get the confidence they need to practice in various practice models.
