- Applicants are required to EITHER have completed and passed the NBDE Pt. 1 before application, AND NBDE Pt. 2 before matriculation OR completed and passed INBDE before matriculation.

TOEFL Requirement Instructions
"Applicants who received their dental training from a non-CODA-accredited program must provide valid TOEFL scores taken within the last two years. The minimum acceptable score is 5 (new scoring) or 100 (old scoring)."
Other Requirement Instructions
A separate Temple University application and $75 supplemental fee are required for the Orthodontic Graduate Certificate program. Within 3 days of submitting your application through ADEA Pass, you will receive an email containing a link and PIN to pay the supplemental fee. Please follow the instructions in the email to complete your payment.
In addition, our program requires a supplementary application emailed to: orthodontics@temple.edu. The email should include the following:
- Letter explaining your interest in the Department of Orthodontics at Temple University (This is separate from your Personal Statement in PASS)
- CV that includes your GPA for Dental School and Undergraduate Studies
- GRE Scores
- National Board Scores when taken.
- Applicants who received their dental training from a non-CODA-accredited program must provide valid TOEFL scores taken within the last two years. The minimum acceptable score is 5 (new scoring) or 100 (old scoring).
