Program Contact
The Advanced Education In General Dentistry Residency Program at the University of New Mexico provides a one year experience in general dentistry in multiple settings: outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery center, operating room, and the hospital setting. It is a hybrid program between an AEGD and a GPR. The resident will get operating room and hospital experience, but most of your experiences will fall in an outpatient setting. Our program is a highly clinical one that will provide the foundation of comprehensive general dentistry to give you what you need to successfully transition to a private practice, academic or public health institution.
