Time is approximately allocated for our 3 year MS program as follows: 65% clinical experience [250 - 350 cases], 15% didactic, 15% research and 5% teaching predoctoral dental students. Students obtain clinical experience in the full spectrum of periodontics, such as guided tissue regeneration, conscious sedation, implantology, guided bone regeneration, and conventional forms of periodontal therapy. Residents will also have the opportunity to work with various virtual implant planning software, 3D printers, lasers, and PRF centrifuges.  A multidisciplinary approach to therapy is available through joint treatment with other advanced education programs in: prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, oral & maxillofacial surgery, and pediatric dentistry. PhD candidates obtain similar clinical experience as MS students. However, their curriculum is distributed over 6+ years with expanded opportunities in didactic and research activities (approximately 35% clinical, 30% didactic, and 35% research).
