Other Requirement Instructions
Applicants to both the 4-yr and 6-yr OMS programs must take the CBSE exam offered twice a year through the AAOMS website.
- Applicants to the 4-yr OMS certificate program must earn a minimum score to be considered for an interview:
- CBSE between 08-2019 to 02-2022: 3-Digit Score of 159 or higher
- CBSE as of 02-2022: 2-Digit Score of 58 or higher (Total Equated Percent Correct)
- Please be aware these are not equivalent exam ratings so exam outcomes between the 3-digit and 2-digit results are not meant to be compared.
- Applicants to the 6-yr OMS certificate plus MD program must earn a minimum score to be considered for an interview:
- CBSE between 08-2019 to 02-2022: 3-Digit Score of 194 or higher
- CBSE as of 02-2022: 2-Digit Score of 62 or higher (Total Equated Percent Correct)
- Please be aware these are not equivalent exam ratings so exam outcomes between the 3-digit and 2-digit results are not meant to be compared
For applicants who have taken NDBE Part 1 and Part 2, official scores should be submitted directly to PASS. For applicants who will be taking INBDE, scores will not be required for application review.
Residents accepted into the OMS program must complete a U.S. regional or equivalent Canadian clinical licensure exam and obtain a Missouri Dental License prior to starting the residency.
