UNMC College of Dentistry Endodontics Residency Program
The UNMC College of Dentistry has offered a fully accredited advanced education program in endodontics since 1970. The program leads to a certificate of specialization in endodontics which satisfies the requirements mandated by the American Board of Endodontics for examination and board certification.
The program is based at the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln and residents receive a stipend and benefits package. GME-eligible postgraduate students are eligible for a flexible benefits package, which includes options for health, life and disability insurance.

Program Goals
- Recruit competent interested highly qualified dental professionals from the State of Nebraska and other U.S. states, and/or from other countries.

Foreign trained dentists without an A.D.A.-accredited dental college/school degree are not eligible due to licensing restrictions.

Transcript Evaluation and Instructions

Accepted Applicants who are 2027 Graduates: Official final dental school transcripts are required to be submitted to the admissions administrator by June 30, 2027.
Letters of Evaluation Instructions
All letters of evaluation (letters of recommendation) should be requested and submitted through PASS.

- Must hold a DDS or DMD degree from a CODA‑accredited U.S. dental school or a CDAC‑accredited dental school in Canada.
- Must pass the INBDE (or have passed the NBDE Parts I and II) by the program start date.
- Valid U.S. dental license (current or by the program start date).
- A Nebraska dental license (required to participate in the program).
