Application Requirements

Required Standardized Tests

  • GRE
  • TOEFL
  • TOEFL is mandatory for applicants who have obtained their dental degree from a dental school outside the US and Canada (minimum score of 85). The GRE is mandatory for all applicants.

Transcript Evaluation and Instructions

Official WES ICAP evaluation for transcripts issued by institutions outside the U.S. and Canada.

WES is required for original dental degree earned for candidates who are enrolled or have completed advanced standing DDS/DMD degrees. 

ECE not accepted.  

 

Letters of Evaluation Instructions

At least 3 letters of recommendations are required.

TOEFL Requirement Instructions

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 85 or higher is required of all candidates who graduated from dental schools outside the US and Canada.

Other Requirement Instructions

Graduate Record Exam (GRE) General Test is mandatory for all applicants. GRE Subject Tests are not required and do not replace the GRE General Test. Our school code for GRE is 1002 - Eastman Institute for Oral Health. Please do not use code 2948.

Standardized tests such as ADAT and National Dental Board examinations are strongly recommended but not required.
