The University of Tennessee Medical Center, Graduate School of Medicine, Department of General Dentistry provides comprehensive dental care in a clinical environment for general dentistry patients, as well as a hospital environment caring for the medically compromised and special needs patient.
Rotations in Anesthesia, Family Medicine, Oral Surgery, Sleep Apnea, and the Emergency Room are part of the curriculum. Exposure to Forensic Dentistry and positive identification of human remains are part of our didactic and clinical experience.
