The University of Tennessee Knoxville is a CODA accredited advanced specialty training experience that is 6 years in length. Residents obtain their medical degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis, TN. The program provides residents with breadth and depth of clinical training in the specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Our faculty offers expertise in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and Reconstruction, Facial Trauma, Orthognathic Surgery, TMD management, Dentoalveolar/Implant Surgery and Anesthesia. Our department is responsible for 24/7 maxillofacial trauma call at our Level 1 Trauma center.
