Program Contact
The Advanced Education Program in Endodontics is a 24-month certificate program of intensive study, research, and clinical activity designed to meet the formal requirements for eligibility to take the certifying examination of the American Board of Endodontics. Once you have been accepted to the certificate in the endodontics program, you have the option to apply for our master's degree program (36-month). Prior to the student's graduation, dental research results are expected to be formally written in a publishable format and submitted for publication in a refereed scientific journal and a variety of 5 clinical cases must be submitted in the American Board of Endodontics format.

TOEFL Requirement Instructions
TOEFL iBT is required if you graduated from a Non-US/Canadian ADA/CODA accredited dental school. The minimum required score for the TOEFL iBT is a total of 75, from a test taken the same day (not "MyBest™ Scores"), taken within two years of applying.

Interview Schedule
The application deadline is June 17, 2024, at 3:00 pm CST (for the 2025 program start). Interviews will be on Friday, July 12, 2024, at UT Health San Antonio.
