The Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program provides a progressive clinical, laboratory and didactic experience in fixed, removable, maxillofacial and implant prosthodontics (including the surgical placement of implants).  Graduates will be prepared to skillfully practice the clinical art and science of prosthodontics in a specialty practice and will be prepared to challenge the certification examination of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Transcript Evaluation and Instructions

Foreign transcripts need to be evaluated from ECE or WES including GPA calculations and must be uploaded into ADEA Pass 

Letters of Evaluation Instructions

Must be uploaded into ADEA Pass by the recommenders

TOEFL Requirement Instructions

The TOEFL exam is required for internationally trained dentists.  Minimum score is 92.  Must be uploaded into ADEA Pass.  We do not accept the IELTS.

Other Requirement Instructions

INBDE or NDBE Parts 1 and 2 are nice to have but not required.

This program will consider applicants who graduated, or plan to graduate, from a non-CODA accredited dental school: Yes

Applicants are eligible to enroll if they are:

  • US Citizen
  • US Permanent Resident
  • Canadian Citizen
  • Non-US Citizen/Resident (applicant must obtain their own sponsorship)

Interview Schedule

Interviews are typically held in person in early/mid September and will include a typodont preparation as part of the interview process.

Additional Information

Must submit supplemental Application for Admission Form directly to the program. Stipends are dependent on fund availability.

ADAT or GRE is required for all applicants who graduated from dental schools not accredited by CODA.  

ADAT or GRE is also required for students who graduated from CODA accredited schools that are Pass/Fail or that do not provide class rankings.

Supplemental application along with application fee $90 is also required to be sent in directly to the program.

Graduates are eligible to challenge the American Board of Prosthodontics.
