The Department of Periodontics at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry offers an advanced education comprehensive course of study in clinical and didactic periodontics. The program consists of a minimum 36-month course of study, with a specific research component, leading to a Specialty Certificate in Periodontology and a Master of Science in Dentistry. The course of study satisfies the requirements for eligibility for the American Board of Periodontology. The program also satisfies ADA requirements to provide minimal and moderate conscious sedation.  The program carries full approval status from the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation.

  • F1 student visa is supported by VCU for eligible candidates

Interview Schedule

Applications will undergo review by the selection committee. Invitations for onsite interviews will be sent out in the month of August, with interviews scheduled for mid-September.
