Willis Knighton Health is proud to recognize the continued growth and success of its accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program as we enter our third year of training future leaders in the specialty. Since its approval by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), the program has advanced our mission to elevate specialized healthcare education and enhance patient care within our community.
Now in its third year, the residency program highlights Willis Knighton’s ongoing commitment to excellence. Our residents continue to develop the knowledge, technical skill, and compassion essential for high-quality oral and maxillofacial surgical care.
This comprehensive 4-year program provides progressive clinical training, meaningful research opportunities, and strong academic foundations. Throughout their residency, trainees gain hands-on experience in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, facial cosmetic procedures, sleep apnea surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, dental implantology, cleft surgery, and the management of benign and malignant pathology—all under the mentorship of experienced faculty and practicing surgeons dedicated to resident success.
