The residency program will provide a well-rounded experience field of pediatric dentistry:

Provide advanced didactic instruction in pediatric dentistry: Evidence-based instruction in biomedical sciences and clinical sciences

Provide advanced clinical instruction in dental pediatric comprehensive care by providing a full range of pediatric dental services to infant and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs: Comprehensive learning of the medical management and dental treatment of the pediatric and special health care needs population

Provide an insight to the process of conducting a research project: Completion of a research project as a scholarly activity and evidence-based learning

Provide outreach and advocacy: Provide oral health education and advocacy as part of community dentistry and public health
