Program Contact
The purpose of the program is to provide instruction and clinical experience in Prosthodontics at an advanced level, enabling the resident to become a trained specialist who is familiar with all aspects of the theoretical, practical knowledge, and skills pertinent to the specialty of Prosthodontics. Digital dentistry involving CAD design, CAM and 3D printing is heavily incorporated into clinical practice and especially laboratory work. Residents will design, mill and finish Zr crown and bridge, design all aspects of implant crown and bridge and be involved in digital dentures. The residents have surgical rotations throughout their residency program in oral surgery and periodontics. Implant placement is emphasized throughout the 3 year program especially during the surgical rotations. Implant sugical guide fabrication for their surgical cases will be planned, designed and 3D printed by the residents.
