- Passing the INBDE before matriculation into the advanced dental education program
- Passing the INBDE before the Match deadline

Letters of Evaluation Instructions
Three letters of recommendation are required - One letter of recommendation must be from the Dean of your Dental school

Additional Information
We accept externs/observers Feb 1 – June 16 or Aug 1 – Sept 30. We can accommodate D3's in the spring/D4's in the fall. Preference is given to students applying for the current cycle to extern/observe. One can extern if your Dental school & Northwell have an education agreement on file. If there's no agreement, you can only observe in the clinic 1-3 days. (i.e. shadow a resident, w/no direct patient contact & no going in the OR).
